Dr.Thomas Bazarusanga

Thomas is an experienced agriculture researcher, policy influencer and veterinarian. He has over 30 years’ experience and has served in several international and national bodies including the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) as a First Principal of a Regional Agriculture College for 6 years; Project Manager with an international NGO – Terra Nuova, Nairobi Office; and various functions with University of Ghent, Belgium; University of Dakar, Senegal; The African Union Center for Tick and Tick Borne Diseases (AU-CTTBD) of Lilongwe, Malawi; International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI), Nairobi; University of Rwanda; The Institute for Agriculture Research (ISAR), Rwanda as well as Rwanda Agriculture Board (RAB), Rwanda.
As the Country Manager in Rwanda, Thomas has been involved in setting up basis to establish the company’s regulatory, governance and administrative frameworks in a new agricultural insurance market environment
