Rahab Kariuki the Managing Director of ACRE Africa is a self-starter and seasoned professional in the field of insurance with a clear passion for micro insurance based solutions. Rahab has been with the company since 2009. She has twelve years experience in insurance, five of which are in Agricultural Insurance. Her apt ability in problem solving and negotiation skills was key in piloting and roll out of the UAP-Syngenta Foundation Kilimo Salama project and the transition of this project to the for-profit company ACRE Africa.
Rahab leads the development of the Companys business (agricultural weather index) and image and builds strategic partnership with local regulators, insurers, clients, administrators and key influencers.
Rahab is an Insurance Institute of Kenya Fellow, holder of a 2012 GSBI Fellow, a first class honour B.Sc Agriculture Education & Extension from Nairobi University and is currently pursuing her MBA.
